GV’s Grand Finale

One can rightfully say, GV Prakash, the young and bubbling talent has joined the league of some of the best music directors Tamil cinemas has ever seen… We had earlier told you that GV Prakash is composing the tunes for Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagal,’ an emotional roller coaster on it’s way to please Kollywood movie buffs.

The movie revolves around Vikram who is mentally challenged and his struggles in bringing up his daughter and his daughter’s attempts to accept the true state of her father. What more can add glitz to the movie than a musical symphony?

What our birdies have to say about the movie will make you all sit up straight for sure. The last 15 minutes of the movie will have no dialogue delivered from artists, but a symphony! “The 15 minute musical piece will be recorded with at least 50 artists performing it,” he says.

A climax scene with no words and just music, kind of new to Tamil cinema isn’t it? This has earlier been attempted by very few ace musicians for key parts in movies, such as Ilayaraja’s work in ‘Hey Ram.’ Remember the flashback scene of Kamal’s, beautifully depicting his relationship with Rani Mukherjee? Ilayaraja has delivered such musical scenes in a few other movies as well…

GV has more pressure than ever since he has to musically express the vital most element of the movie to the audience musically.

We wish him luck with his latest attempt as if he succeeds with it, he will only do us and Tamil cinema more proud! We’ll get back to you shortly with latest tidbits on Tamil cinema at IndiaGlitz.comÂ
